About Home Cinema
Watching a movie can now be done in the comfort of our homes. No need to dress up, travel a distance and buy a ticket to be able to see the latest movie in town. All you need is to grab a snack food from your kitchen or refrigerator, sit down in your couch, turn off the lights and push the button of the remote control….that easy. And this is what home cinema is all about. Home cinema or home theater combines electronic components to simulate our experience of watching a movie in a theater. Unlike watching ordinary television, the home theater system makes us more engrossed in the movie we are watching. The screen we use may not be that wide but with the help of a good sound system, movie-watching at home now is never like before. Renting a movie is cheaper these days compared to watching it in a theater. Film producers have made this possible as they make copies of their movie in the form of compact discs (CDs) and digital video discs (DVDs). So with a good player at home plus a quality sound system to boot, who else needs to go to the theaters? |
