Home Theater

Put a movie lover and a homebody together and what will you get?  Someone who, more likely than not, will set up his own home theater system.  In this day and age, where technology is but a staple in our lives, we have found numerous applications that enhance our leisure activities to heights that our forefathers probably didn’t think possible.  Having a theater system at home is probably one of those things.

A home theater system is basically a TV room which aims to simulate the effects of watching a movie in a cinema.  The video component makes use of either a high definition TV or a movie screen onto which the video is projected.  As for the audio component, high fidelity surround sound systems are used.

Traditionally, a home theater system made use of projectors and screens.  This set up, however, cost a large amount of money.  Today, technology has allowed for more affordable set ups which give the same quality as the movie theater.  Couple that with the ease and convenience of watching movies at home and you shouldn’t be surprised why a lot of people are setting up their own home theater systems.
