Wii
With the war of the gaming consoles raging on, Nintendo has again made revolutionary steps, wow-ing the general public. When before, it was mainly Sony and Microsoft who were pitted against each other, now Nintendo has once again entered the arena with its new product, the Wii. Gaming has long since been part of modern society. It seems to be one of the major stress relievers of man, woman, adult, and children alike. With the fast changing trends in technology, man’s tastes and preference quickly adapt to what is present in the market. More than that, consumers ask for more than what is available. As such, manufacturers continue to try and out do one another in this rat race called gaming.
Nintendo has always been considered as one of the forerunners in the game industry. With its classic Game & Watch and Family Computer being the highlight of the 80s, it is not really a surprise that they once again lead the way with the Wii. Not many people anticipated the success of the Wii. With the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox series, it seemed that there was not much space for the Wii in the market. Well, we couldn’t have been more wrong! When the Wii was launched and people started discovering its potential, many a gamer was drawn into Nintendo’s world once again.
